A participant’s experience of a Qstream is based on 3 factors:
A. When notifications are sent.
B. When and how many questions are scheduled.
C. When and how many questions are presented.
Notifications are when Qstream informs a participant that they have available questions. Currently, this is via email by default, while Slack and Teams notifications are available through Qstream Connect.
Scheduled Questions As questions are scheduled, they are added to a participant's queue. The queue of scheduled questions is not limited. E.g. If a participant in a Classic Qstream does not answer any questions in the first week, they will have a build-up of 6 questions in their scheduled question queue, the visibility of these questions is determined by the number of questions presented on a day.
Presented Questions are questions that are presented or made visible to a participant. In a standard Classic Qstream, “Questions Presented on a Day” is set to 2. This means that you can only ever see a maximum of 2 questions on any given day. E.g. using the a Classic Qstream as an example, if a participant had 6 questions in their scheduled queue, they would still only ever see 2 questions on any day (the rest of their scheduled question queue is not visible to them).
