All “first presentation” questions are scheduled at the start of a Qstream, and this schedule is fixed. E.g. If a participant receives questions on Day 1, but only answers them on Day 2, they will still get their next questions on Day 3.
All "repeat" questions are given a fixed schedule as soon as they are generated. Repeats are generated by a participant answering a question correctly or incorrectly (assuming the question has not been retired/mastered).
If a participant has available questions in their scheduled question queue, they may be presented with questions every day.
Qstream Types
- Classic Qstream - Correctly and incorrectly answered questions repeat
- Turbo Qstream - Incorrectly answered questions repeat
- Lightning Qstream - No repeat questions
Questions presented to a participant are prioritized to show repeat questions and questions that have been in the queue longest first. For clarity, in questions are prioritized by:
-
Type: Correct Repeats, Incorrect Repeats, New Questions (in order of priority).
Then
-
Age: questions scheduled on an older date will be presented before more recently scheduled questions.
Video Response questions DO NOT repeat.
Note:
If a Program Manager adds more questions to a Qstream post-launch, whether by adding questions to an existing deck, or by adding a deck to the Qstream, the questions will retroactively be included in the delivery schedule for that challenge. So, if running a custom Qstream which allows for more than the standard two questions in a day, a participant might get the maximum number of questions added to their schedule for that day.
