| Engagement | Engagement refers to whether a learner started a course they are enrolled in. Valid values are Started/Not Started. |
| Participation | Participation measures the percentage of activity attempts the learner had/has the opportunity to engage with versus those he did engage with. The formula is (Total Activities Answered / Total Activities Available to Answer). |
| Participant Progress | Learners status in a course: valid values are Started/Not Started/In Progress/Incomplete. A learners's status is 'Incomplete' if they had not completed all activities when the course closed. |
| Correctness | Proficiency is a measure of correctness. Correctness is the percentage of an activity you got correct ie. 0 for incorrect, 100% for correct and in between for partially correct, depending on number of correct answers in multi choice. |
| Proficiency - Initial | Learners Proficiency on answering an activity for the first time. Proficiency is a measure of correctness. Correctness is the percentage of an activity you got correct ie. 0 for incorrect, 100% for correct and in between for partially correct, depending on number of correct answers in multi choice. |
| Proficiency - Current | Learners Proficiency on the latest answer they have submitted for an activity (in FLM this can also be final but is not explicitly called out). Proficiency is a measure of correctness. Correctness is the percentage of an activity you got correct ie. 0 for incorrect, 100% for correct and in between for partially correct, depending on number of correct answers in multi choice. |
| Proficiency - Final | Learners proficiency on the final (retirement) answer they have submitted for an activity. Proficiency is a measure of correctness. Correctness is the percentage of an activity you got correct ie. 0 for incorrect, 100% for correct and in between for partially correct, depending on number of correct answers in multi choice. |
| Proficiency - Average | Learners Average Proficiency across all attempts they have submitted for an activity. |
| Proficiency Change | The change in Proficiency between the first attempt on an activity and the latest attempt. Calculated as (((‘current’ - ‘initial’) / ‘initial’) x 100) If the initial score was “0” we cannot divide by 0, and so the calculation ((‘current’ - ‘initial’) x 100) is used instead. |
| Rank | The learners position on the Leaderboard. |
| Score | The learners number of points. Points are awarded for answering the activity the first time as well as an engagement bonus. In subsequent attempts bonus points are awarded for mastery and incorrect answers can result in a points penalty. |
| First Attempts | The Percentage of activities in the course to which the learner has submitted at least one attempt. The calculation is ((Number of First Attempts / Number of attempts in the course) * 100) |
| Completed | The Percentage of activities in the course which the learner has completed. An activity is deemed completed when it is either "Retired and Mastered" (consecutive correct attempts) or "Retired Not Mastered" (all attempts used without answering consecutively correct). The formula used is (((Number of Activities Retired and Mastered + Number of Activities Retired Not Mastered) / Number of Activities in the Course) * 100) |
| Number of Activities | The Number of Activities in a Course. This number will always equal the totals for the Activity Progression stats. |
| Retired | The Activity is completed ie. Retired and mastered OR Retired Not Mastered |
| Retired and Mastered | The Activity is completed by answering the activity correctly on consecutive attempts. The number of consecutive attempts to master a activity is configured in course settings and can be edited in a course with Custom settings. |
| Retired Not Mastered | The Activity is completed by the learner using all available attempts at this activity. The number of consecutive attempts to master an activity is configured in course settings and can be edited in a course with Custom settings. |
| Next Attempt Scheduled | The Activity is completed by answering the activity correctly on consecutive attempts. The number of consecutive attempts to master an activity is configured in Course settings and can be edited in a Course with Custom settings. |
| First Attempt Scheduled | The Activity is completed by the learner using all available attempts at this activity. However the learner failed to answered the Activity correctly the required number of times in order to master the Activity. |
| Activities Available | The number of activities available for the learner to answer. |
| Attempt at this Activity | The attempt for this Activity ie. first, second, third etc. |
| Your Course Proficiency | Learners proficiency in the Course based on the latest answer for every activity attempted. If there were 3 activities in a Course and the latest proficiency on each activity was 100%, 50% and 0% then the Course proficiency would be (100 + 50 + 0 / 3 = 50%) |
| Activity | The number of activity attempts submitted. |
| Activity Level | Very Active=Greater than 70% Participation (see 'Participation'). Active=Between 40% and 69% participation (inclusive). Inactive= Less than 40% Participation |
| Course Status | Active = Running, Closed=Finished, Pending, Suspended. |
| Course Result | The percentage of activity attempts responded to Correctly or Incorrectly. Multiple Correct Answer type activities may be answered 'Partially Correct' if not all correct answer options were chosen. |
| Activity Attempt | The percentage of activity attempts by a learners attempt at this activity. Valid values are 'First' (this was a first attempt, but a repeat was scheduled), 'First & Final' (the participant retired this activity on first attempt), 'Subsequent' (this was a repeat attempt of an activity, but the activity was not retired) or 'Final' (this was a repeat attempt, and the participant retired the activity on this attempt) |
