Admins can control company working hours and restrict platform access using the Companies screen. This ensures that Qstreams align with business hours and participant availability.
Key Settings & How They Work
Working Days/Hours
-
Defines official working days and times for a company.
-
Default working hours are configured at Company level.
-
Default working hours are 9AM to 5:30PM in the user's timezone.
-
Custom working days/hours can be set at an individual user level.
-
Qstreams can only start and finish on a valid working day.
-
Questions are delivered on working days, but users can still log in unless access is restricted.
-
Example: If Monday–Friday are set as working days, a Qstream cannot start or end on a Saturday or Sunday.
Start Time
-
Determines when question notifications are sent.
-
Question notifications are delivered at 9 AM local time (or the configured start time).
-
Participants can log in and answer questions from midnight onward, even before notifications arrive.
Enforce Working Time
-
Restricts platform access outside defined hours.
-
Participants and managers can only log in during set working days and hours.
-
Example: If hours are 9 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday–Friday, and "Enforce Working Time" is turned ON, users cannot access the platform on weekends or outside these hours.
By configuring these settings, admins can ensure Qstreams fit within company schedules while maintaining flexibility for learners.
This functionality can be configured by a Company Owner in the "Admin" section under "Company" Clicking the "Edit" button will allow you to change working days and times.
