Admins can control company working hours and restrict platform access using the "Company" screen found under the "Set Up" tab. This ensures that Qstream courses align with business hours and learner availability.
Key Settings & How They Work
Working Days/Hours
Defines official working days and times for a company.
Default working hours are configured at the company level.
Default working hours are 9AM to 5:30PM in the user's timezone.
Custom working days/hours can be set at an individual user level.
Courses can only start and finish on a valid working day.
Activities are delivered on working days, but users can still log in unless access is restricted.
Example: If Monday–Friday are set as working days, a course cannot start or end on a Saturday or Sunday.
Start Time
Determines when activity notifications are sent.
By default, activity notifications are delivered at 9 AM local time (or the configured start time).
Participants can log in and answer activities from midnight onward, even before notifications arrive.
Enforce Working Time
Restricts platform access outside defined hours.
Participants and managers can only log in during set working days and hours.
Example: If hours are 9 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday–Friday, and "Enforce Working Time" is turned ON, users cannot access the platform on weekends or outside these hours.
By configuring these settings, admins can ensure courses fit within company schedules while maintaining flexibility for learners.
This functionality can be configured by a Company Owner in the "Set Up" section under "Company". Clicking the "Edit" button will allow you to change working days and times, which would then apply to all learners and managers.
Once you've clicked "Edit", you'll be brought to the following screen.
